Help The Kids. Binge Pancake Eating. IU Tri Delta. Is This Real Life?
One of our favorite sororities in the country is IU’s Delta Delta Delta. Seriously one of the best groups to work with.
Their annual Flapjack Attack event is an all-you-can-eat pancake fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
It’s being held at 818 E. 3rd Street (the TriDelta house) on April 17th from 6-7:30 pm then again from midnight until 3 am. The theme this year is neon (RAVE) and the house will be decorated with lots of lights, neon items, and a DJ.
Tickets are $5, jerseys are $18 – or $20 for both. They’ll have a raffle and their famous “Pie a Delta” where people can donate $10 to throw a whipped cream pie at any TriDelta they’d like. Last year they raised around $18,000 for the kids of St. Jude, and this year they’re aiming for over $20,000.
